Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience creating content for technical audiences (e.g., developer documentation, computer science course material, or IT administration playbooks).
- 6 years of experience in researching and writing documentation for engineers/developers, administrators, and business users.
- Experience writing across a spectrum of content types including conceptual, task or user-journey oriented, troubleshooting, and reference.
- Programming experience and proficiency in a UNIX environment.
- Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing requirements and timelines.
- Develop empathy for our customers and immerse yourself in their workflows, needs, and challenges. Create content that integrates well with existing processes.
- Craft content by translating user needs into written documentation, but also through alternative content forms such as video, interactive tutorials, and community interactions.
- Own your product area. Drive valuable collaborations with cross-functional teams within BAP and Google Cloud, and build relationships to achieve shared goals.
