Job Description The Senior Director, Global SRE Regulated Markets is a highly visible and critical technical leader with the responsibility of the strategy and operating of all regulated markets capabilities across the globe. With a 100+ employees team spanning multiple geographies, you will lead a team of highly experienced SRE’s to maximize reliability and availability in this fast-growing space. You will engage across the business and engineering teams to ensure the ultimate customer experience is maintained across ServiceNow’s existing and future regulated markets portfolio. We need a strategic technical leader with experience in running enterprise software at scale, an inspirational manager of people, and someone who is comfortable in fast, demanding and dynamic environments. - Run a 100+ global team to maintain the availability and reliability of our fast-growing regulated market customers.
- Provide strategic input to the SRE leadership team and collaborate across the group to ensure maximum efficiencies are attained.
- Work with business partners and engineering teams to improve the platform’s reliability.
- 15+ years of operational experience leading large-scale, applications and platforms, managing commercial and regulated technology portfolios.
- 10+ years of experience managing high performing and highly technical teams.
- Experience running and improving an SRE team.
- Experience of driving change across an enterprise organization.
- Deep experience in the creation and ongoing improvement of operational standards, ability to drive future reuse, and logical consistency of the customer experience.
- 15+ years of experience in commercial, and 5+ years in regulated markets, in software engineering and cloud operational management.
- Experience building strong cross functional relationships that foster deep engagements.
- Ability to represent and promote complex business or technical concepts both internally and externally.
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
